Sequoia's Work


I made this set of pieces from throwing them on the wheel. I really like how I glazed them and switching the colors. they fit well together and I wouldn't change the glazes at all. I made them with low fire clay and glazed them with:

I made this mug apart of a set with a matching plate on the way. I usually don't work with ongos, but I love the way these came out these were also make with lowlier clay and glazed with:


These sets of bowls were made as a tester of low fire clays. I really liked the driving method but would probably make my brush strokes a little thicker on the second one. these low fire bowls are glazed with:


this is another set of bowls where I continued to test brush strokes and different areas of painting as trying more vertical strokes and more horezontal strokes. these low fire bowls were glazed with:

this low fire mug was glazed with color inside and clear outside I really loved the idea of the different color blocks but I think that I need to use more layers. for glazes I used:

this was my first attempt at a pitcher I really love how this piece turned out and plan on making a bigger version In the future. this low fire piece was glazed with:
